Prior to the latest collaboration, Muve and PEXA have joined forces to create two major UK milestones:
- First Digital Remortgage (2022): Muve used the PEXA platform to complete the first digital remortgage transaction in the UK, which expedited the registration and financial settlement process, proving the viability of same-day remortgaging.
- First Digital Property Transaction (June 2025): Muve partnered with PEXA for the second time to complete the first fully digital property transaction in the UK. This demonstrated the platform’s ability to streamline the entirety of a property sale or purchase.
In the latest partnership, Muve will explore PEXA’s new Sale and Purchase feature, as well as its risk reduction capabilities, to secure faster client completions while intelligently linking to major third-party platforms. This initiative aims to explore the role of technology in enhancing the conveyancing journey, particularly for large law firms that deliver services on an industry-wide scale.
Supercharging Muve’s Lightspeed Advantage to Innovate UK Conveyancing
Muve’s engagement with PEXA aligns with its strategy to strengthen industry-leading services, particularly Muve Lightspeed.
Lightspeed, the signature conveyancing product targeting an exchange in 5 to 8 weeks (for freehold and leasehold properties, respectively), focuses on clients who are keen to move quickly. Through PEXA’s platform, Muve could:
- Enhance speed and certainty as the digital settlement eliminates delays caused by manual registration and payments. This secured fast timelines and made it more reliable for both clients and estate agents.
- Detail risk reduction by exploring opportunities afforded by PEXA’s secure process, which reduced associated insurance costs.
